VideoIlluminated Integration partnered with Beverly Hills Middle School to complete a two-phase transformation of their auditorium, delivering modern audio, video, lighting, and rigging systems designed to elevate both education and performance. In Phase 1, the team integrated a new audio system featuring advanced processing, amplification, and a Yamaha QL1 console, paired with Martin Audio speakers to deliver clear, powerful sound throughout the space. The auditorium also received a full lighting upgrade, with ETC fixtures and a new Element 2 console providing flexibility for both performances and everyday use. To support these systems, Illuminated installed updated power and data distribution, architectural control, a video projection system, new curtains, and motorized rigging linesets—replacing outdated equipment and bringing professional-level functionality to the school.
Phase 2 focused on protecting and fine-tuning the newly installed systems during additional construction work. Illuminated carefully removed, bagged, and stored key equipment such as speakers, consoles, projectors, and lighting fixtures to prevent dust and paint damage, ensuring that all systems remained in excellent condition. After construction was complete, the team returned to re-install and re-focus the equipment, re-tune the room, and finalize system integration so the space was performance-ready once again.
Together, these upgrades created a versatile and reliable auditorium environment that supports teaching, assemblies, and live productions, while also giving Beverly Hills Middle School the confidence of professional-quality sound, lighting, and rigging systems.
