VideoIlluminated Integration completed a full renovation of the auditorium at United Junior/Senior High School, bringing updated technical infrastructure and flexibility to the space.
The project included the installation of a new audio system with wireless microphones and assisted listening capabilities, all managed through a centralized control platform. Two LED walls were installed offstage to serve as the primary video displays, with convenient input access located at front-of-house, on stage, and backstage. A central projection screen was also provided as an optional display.
A new color-mixing LED lighting system was installed, offering a versatile rep plot with front, back, cyc, and spot lighting. Control is handled through an ETC system with a programmable console, touchscreen interfaces, and wall stations for simple operation. The house lighting system was also upgraded to recessed, color-changing fixtures coordinated with ceiling architecture.
All over-stage and front-of-house rigging was replaced with motorized hoists, improving safety and efficiency for lighting and scenic changes. Updated stage curtains were installed, including a new proscenium set, crossover, masking, and a cyclorama.
The technical systems are supported by dedicated backstage and front-of-house equipment racks, a production-only network, and aerial lifts. Illuminated provided detailed drawings, site discovery, and coordination throughout the process to ensure a seamless result. The completed auditorium now serves as a dynamic, modern venue for performances, presentations, and school-wide events.
