Greater Nanticoke Area High School

What began as a design partnership evolved into a complete modernization of the Greater Nanticoke Area High School Auditorium, transforming the space into a flexible environment designed to support performances, presentations, assemblies, and community events for years to come.

Illuminated Integration was initially engaged to provide design services for the auditorium’s audio, video, lighting, rigging, and control systems. Working alongside I.B. Abel and the broader project team, we developed the technical foundation for the space, coordinating system infrastructure with architectural and electrical requirements to create a unified user experience throughout the venue.

As the project moved into construction, Illuminated Integration delivered new stage lighting and integrated lighting controls for both stage and house lighting systems, providing increased flexibility and simplified operation for a variety of events. The project also included new motorized rigging, updated theatrical rigging infrastructure, and a complete stage curtain package that enhanced both functionality and presentation within the auditorium.

Audio upgrades included a new sound reinforcement system featuring loudspeakers, amplifiers, digital signal processing, a new audio console, wireless microphone systems, assisted listening technology, and choral microphones to support performances, presentations, and accessibility needs throughout the space.

To complement the upgraded performance systems, Illuminated Integration also delivered a new projection and video distribution system featuring a high-lumen projector and motorized screen, allowing the auditorium to support modern multimedia and presentation requirements.

From early-stage design coordination through final commissioning, documentation, and training, the project focused on delivering a cohesive technology environment tailored to the needs of Greater Nanticoke Area High School and its community.
