THE THREE TYPES OF VIDEO WALLS
There are several video wall systems to select from, and each has unique advantages to offer. Our experts will help you choose which one best matches your space and the images you want to project:
- LCD Display video walls: LCDs (liquid crystal displays) are what you see on your smartphone, tablet and flatscreen TV. These screens are backlit, offer high-resolution projection and are viewable far away or up-close. They are often used in education, research, conferencing and information kiosks.
- Direct view LED video walls: Direct view video walls utilize LED (light-emitting diode) technology to deliver a bright, clear and seamless image. Their images remain visible even with high ambient light, making them popular for indoor/outdoor video and commercial signage all from a specified distance.
- Blended projection systems: A blended video wall uses multiple projectors to create large, high-resolution images much larger than single projectors could achieve. Blended projection is possible on surfaces of virtually any size and shape. Education, simulation and engineering are typical applications.
